We will endeavor to be "the Prestigious Ambassador" offering the highest value
Ambassador's First Step
In 1955 when the ravages of the Korean War had not yet been mended, the dream of building Korea as a tourist nation blossomed. This was the first step of Ambassador. Established purely as a private entity, Ambassador has grown into one of the top hotel groups in the country boasting of the biggest accommodation network in just half a century.
Transforming into a Top-Class Hotel
Opened as a small inn named "Geumsujang" in 1955, the Ambassador Hotel attracted customers with its advanced services and facilities, which are always on full demand. The two-story building "Geumsujang" inn has now become a 5-star hotel with 413 guestrooms, and it has developed into a professional hotel management group with numerous branches spread across the country.
Collaborative Investment with Accor
In 1987, Ambassador agreed on collaborative investment with world-renowned French Hotel group Accor; with its international capacity, it introduced various hotel brands such as Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, and Ibis, managing them successfully to this day. In the case of Novotel Ambassador Gangnam, which was opened in 1993, it has been recording 90% occupancy since its launch, and it has been a legend in the industry. Furthermore, Ibis Style Ambassador Gangnam (former Ibis Ambassador Gangnam) is considered the pioneer of domestic mid-low budget accommodation business.
Co-establishment of AAK
In 2006, based on a successful partnership with Accor, Ambassador co-established Korean hotel management corporation AAK (Accor-Ambassador Korea). As the first Korean overseas hotel management corporation, AAK was able to expand further its Hotel network through Accor's international Hotel management experiences combined with Ambassador's domestic know-how.
As a result, AAK has opened branches in major cities including Incheon, Busan, Ulsan, Suwon, and Changwon.
A Leap toward the World
Today, Ambassador is turning its attention to the world. For the last 60 years, Ambassador has accumulated expertise and know-how on creating clientele values. Adding the global frontier strategy, Ambassador is taking the next step to transform into a Global Hotel Management Group for people around the world to experience its prestigious services.

We embody our vision and goal as a "Hospitality Leader Offering the Highest Value"

The "H" in the symbol is derived from "Hospitality," and the "A," from Ambassador. We used the square to emphasize stability based on our tradition and expertise, symbolizing the highest value provided by Ambassador through our accommodation service. The round "A" resembles a horseshoe that indicates good fortune and openness toward guests.

The orange gradation signifies a rising sun, denoting Ambassador's passion to achieve new goals and stature as a hospitality leader.
