2010-04-01

The Japanese Super Dining Restaurant at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam, SHUNMI has completed its partial
renovation and opened ‘Sake Room’ and ‘Sushi Bar’ with whole new interior design and facility.

The SHUNMI’s new Sake Room was designed by the restaurant’s original designer, Super Potato to deliver a
modern and private impression while its Sake Cellar features 43 types of Japanese regional Sake.

Accommodating up to 10 guests, the room offers a great atmosphere for an easy and comfortable time with
sake and various side dishes.

With exchange of culinary cultures wide spread, Japanese Sake is getting its popularity in Korea while Korean
-grown Makgulri is already widely enjoyed in Japan. There’s an official report that as of end of 2009, the import
of Sake exceeded that of wine in Korea. The Sake’s popularity is no wonder as it’s made of rice, which makes
it familiar to Korean people. Sake is also called ‘Nippon Shu’, referred to ‘Japanese Liquor.’

As a celebration of new opening its Sake Room, SHUNMI offers a special 50% discount on promotion menu on
